anyway, congratulations to all wavechasers! we finally did it!
we came a long way and finally achieved our goal. we completed the last lap of our race and sped through the finishing point with amazing speed. we awed the audience and the judges. we performed up to everyone's expectations. WELLDONE EVERYONE!
i have to say that it had been a very long and harsh 5months. we bled, we got ill, we sweat, we did everything for dance. since the start of this year, our main focus of life was dance, dance and just dance. we put in all our effort into dance, hoping that the nutrients and tenderloving care that we give to our little seedling will make it blossomed into a beautiful flower. our sweat was the water, our blood was the fertiliser, our sacrifice was the care it needed. and indeed, our seedling has not only grown into a plant, but also a plant with many beautiful blossoms, each reflecting the effort that we had put in.
in the past 5months, we've all grown, be it mentally, physically, or emotionally. i know we have grown, because it's so significant. like sulaoshi said, what's important about this syf is that we must grow. and we have. i believe all of us can proudly say that some part of us had changed after this period, that some part of us had gained enlightenment. for juniors, maybe now you realise that you would really want to commit yourself to dance, that dance is your passion. and for seniors, i guess all of us have confirmed how dance has affected our lifes, and how significant it is to us. wavechasers, zhuilang has brought us more than just an award, but also great lessons in life. remember this event, remember how we danced on that stage on the 17th of April 2007.
for all those who feel that we don't deserve this award, i just want to tell you that it's not true. most of us felt that way after the newsflash. it felt so unreal, and so unfair too. but the truth is, all of us had put in alot of effort, and i guess the judges were able to see our efforts being poured out on stage. we really drowned the judges yesterday, not only with our sea water, but also with our passion. everybody makes mistakes, and i believe that the judges had deducted marks from our score accordingly, so don't feel guilty for making those mistakes. mistakes are unavoidable, what is important is that you learn from those mistakes. for us to attain this award, we must have really impressed the judges so much that even though marks were deducted, we still emerged as one of the best. we have continued the River Valley Dance Society legacy.
since the day i've joined dance, i felt proud of it. but now, being in dance society has a completely different meaning. now, more than ever, we have become one big family. we're so much bonded right now, despite having certain conflicts like all families do. that's what makes us even stronger anyway. let our bonds last long, let dance stay united, let the dance spirit live in us forever. 我爱追浪！i love rvdancesociety! hope to see everyone of the wavechasers in next year's dance concert! the dance won't be complete without every wavechaser contributing a single splash of sea water.

sound of bliss, jiayou. i truly believe in you guys. try hard to grasp that joy and energy that amazed me when i 1st saw your dance. it was truly stunning back then, not that you guys aren't now. 5 months ago, you guys had a fabulous atmosphere, you guys made me truly want to join you guys in the dance, the only problem was that everything seemed very raw. but now, sound of bliss is especially synchronised, i'm extremely impressed with the sharpness and also the gracefulness of the movements, however, the happiness is now gone.. SYF is coming for you guys! feel happy that finally you'll be able to show off you talents and your beautiful dance to the audience and judges. believe me, they will definitely love you guys!
have more confidence in yourselves, cause even us, as part of the audience and also as fellow dance mates have confidence in you. the instructors too. don't be too stressed out, and don't worry about how you guys will perform, cause it's a guaranteed outcome already. just let yourself free on stage on monday, show them what you've got. show everyone what you have been doing in that small little cage of ours. don't only meet the judges expectations, exceed it, exceed your own limits too. believe in yourself, you're capable.
sound of bliss, you have my blessings, you have everyone's blessings.. jiayou everyone. it's the last 200m of you 2.4km run! SPRINT FAST TO THE FINISHING LINE
